Born in London on 29th December 1972, Jude began acting with the National Youth Music Theatre at the age of 12, and at 17 he dropped out of school to star in the television soap opera "Families." In 1992, he began his stage career. He has starred in numerous London plays, and was nominated for an Olivier Award in the Outstanding Newcomer category. While his first performances of the play "Indiscretions" were in London, he later moved, and did the play on Broadway, starring with Kathleen Turner. After his brush with Broadway, he began acting in independent films. His first major movie was Gattaca, with Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, and he also had a considerable role in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. In 2000, he appeared in People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful" list. His most recent films include All The King's Men and Breaking And Entering.
