Born on 17th August 1979, Marcus Patric gained fame playing Firefighter Ben Daniels in Channel 4's teen soap Hollyoaks. This was his first TV acting part, which he won after a nationwide search for four new stars for the programme. Before that, he was touring Brazil with some friends. Whilst at school he participated in school productions, but lost interest in acting as he grew more interested in football. Marcus left Hollyoaks, and has recently reprised the role of Ben as a series regular in spin-off Hollyoaks: In The City. He is still keen on football, and supprts Liverpool FC. He reckons that the right type of girl for him is someone laid back, who can chill out and have a bit of a laugh.
