Matt Dillon is considered one of the most underrated actors of our time. Born and raised in New Rochelle, New York on 18th February 1964, Matt is the second-eldest in a large Roman Catholic family. He boasts four brothers and one sister. He was discovered school, offered a screen test and thus began his acting career. For his first role, Dillon was cast as Richie, a tough street-wise teen hoodlum, in the 1979 film, "Over the Edge". Matt became a teen idol after his debut film. His acting became more refined and his characterizations more believable. In 1989 Dillon was cast as a drug-addicted in the film "Drugstore Cowboy". He won critical acclaim and was recognized as a serious actor. We think Matt has got sexier as he has got older. Matt's latest film, "Over The Edge" is out now on DVD.
