Adam Gabriel Garcia was born on June 1, 1973 in Wahroonga, NSW, Australia. Adam is the co-founder of a dance group, the Tap Dogs, which has gained international acclaim. In 2004, he played rock star Stu Wells in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen that he gained mainstream fame as an actor. He played Danny in the West End's version of Grease in London. He played another Travolta character, Tony Manero, in the stage version of Saturday Night Fever. He appeared as Alex Klein in the 2005 Christmas special of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. Adam accepted the relatively minor role as he is a science-fiction fan. Adam was nominated for multiple awards during his stage acting career. His career transition into a film actor began in 1997, when he played Jones in Wilde, a movie about the life of writer Oscar Wilde.
