Charles Divins was born on January 29, 1976 in Dallas, Texas. He is an American model-turned-actor who played the role of Chad Harris-Crane on the television soap opera Passions from 2002 to 2007, when he decided not to join some of the other cast members when Passions moved from NBC to DirecTV. Prior to becoming an actor, Charles wanted to become a hospital administrator, but instead became an actor and model. He modeled for Tommy Hilfiger in magazines like GQ, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, and Gear. He was also a winner in the Male Spokesmodel category on the television series Star Search. Recently, he appeared in a commercial for the Nissan Maxima.

During his spare time, Divins enjoys playing the bass guitar. Charles appeared in the music video for "8th World Wonder" by Kimberley Locke, he also appeared on Olivia and 50 Cent's "Best Friend" music video as Olivia's love interest.
