Steve Burton was born on June 28th 1970 in Indianapolis and raised in Cleveland, Steve moved to California while in his teens. After graduating, he got his start in commercials. He went on to star for three years in the syndicated comedy series “Out of This World,” before landing his role on “General Hospital.” Starring as Jason Quartermaine Morgan for seven years, Steve won a Daytime Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor In a Drama Series. After he left in 1999, Steve starred in the pilot for the series “Semper Fi.” He made his feature film debut in DreamWorks’, “The Last Castle.” Steve played Captain Peretz, the right hand man to James Gandolfini. He is currently shooting a starring role in “Taken,” a 20-hour Miniseries for the Sci Fi Channel, from Steven Spielberg and DreamWorks Television. While aspiring to produce and direct, Steve delighted fans by reprising his role as Jason, on “General Hospital.”
