Jeremy Piven was born on July 26, 1965 in Manhattan, New York. His parents, Byrne and Joyce, made their living as respected stage actors. In 1967, the family moved to Chicago, where his parents established the Piven Theatre Workshop. Jeremy made his debut at the tender age of 8, performing in a play derived from several Anton Chekov stories. It was at the theater that Jeremy met future stars Aidan Quinn, Rosanna Arquette and John Cusack, the latter of whom would become Jeremy's lifelong friend and costar. Jeremy found fame in several films, but it is his role as smug, smarmy Hollywood agent Ari Gold on the smash HBO series Entourage that finally bumped him up to the A-list. The role introduced Jeremy to a whole new audience and it wasn't long before he found himself receiving critical accolades. In 2005 and 2006, he was nominated for an Emmy Award and two Golden Globe Awards.
