																			DATE OF BIRTH: 17th August 1979 KEY FACTS: Marcus Patric plays Firefighter Ben Daniels in Channel 4's teen soap Hollyoaks. This is his first TV acting part, which he won after a nationwide search for four new stars for the programme. Before that, he was touring Brazil with some friends.  Whilst at school he participated in school productions, but lost interest in acting as he grew more interested in football.Marcus enjoys the fact that Ben is getting more comedy scenes nowadays alongside the drama. He is still keen on football, and reckons that the right type of girl for him is someone laid back, who can chill out and have a bit of a laugh.
